Atlassian Connect is the foundation for many types of Jira Cloud apps. It handles discovery, installation, authentication, and seamless integration into the Jira UI. An Atlassian Connect app could be an integration with an existing service, a new feature for Jira, or even a new product that runs within Jira. You need to generate an access key to use the API for Test Management for Jira. The following steps illustrate the process. Use latest version

• Afaik JIRA does not use an access key for its REST API. It uses other authentication methods. You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
• Since we are using Jira Cloud, we need to create an API token first. Click on your avatar in the left bottom corner and choose ‘Account settings’. Go to the Security tab and create the API token.
